Why Xpert-Timer?

Xpert-Timer is used for time recording on activities and projects. The Basic version of the Xpert-Timer is aimed primarily at self-employed and freelancers who want to document and allocate their working hours, while the network-compatible Pro version is used in companies for internal performance recording, time management and for documenting project work.

Xpert-Timer was originally developed to document the work steps in software development. The time tracker is therefore perfect for recording the required working time on projects, as well as for recording the working time for many short tasks and to-dos.

Core function project time recording / time management

The core function of the software is and remains time recording. It is up to each user of the software to decide how roughly the data is recorded.

Other functions include the recording of services for projects, e.g. travel costs, the task list for recording to-dos that are still due for projects, invoicing for projects, an activity report with which you can document the course of the project, and customer management. There is also a CTI module that recognizes incoming and outgoing calls via the TAPI interface and books the time of the call to a specific project. The Outlook module allows you to save emails in the document management of the Xpert-Timer or to create a task from an Outlook email by drag&dropping it into Xpert-Timer.

With the web variant in the private cloud, you can record your project times with a browser, platform-independent and write them directly to the central database. All your data ist stored savely in your companies' database.

You can use Xpert-Timer for 30 days without restrictions in functions, in a network with a maximum of 10 employees. Download the latest version from our download page. If you work in the network, the installation on a network drive is sufficient to connect all employees. A link to xperttimer.exe on the network drive is sufficient to start the program from all workstations.
